SAHALAAL is developing a South African platform for business discovery, independent sellers, job opportunities and Muslim-friendly travel. Our first step is a focused pilot shaped by participating businesses and useful customer enquiries.
Our story
SAHALAAL began around 2010 as a directory of halaal restaurants and takeaway outlets. We are now building on those roots to help more businesses connect with customers and give the community a useful place to discover products, services and opportunities.
What you can do today
- Explore our business directory and contact providers directly.
- Register interest as a founding seller, reseller or service provider.
- Enquire about a vacancy or a travel partnership.
- Report a listing correction or concern.
Marketplace checkout and travel payments are not open yet. Seller participation, offers and operating arrangements will be confirmed during onboarding. We do not promise sales or earnings.
Clear information and responsible participation
A business listing is not a halaal certificate or endorsement. Business ownership and halaal certification are separate checks. Confirm current certification, availability, prices and fulfilment arrangements directly with each provider.
